Atlanta – March 22, 2019 – MERGE Atlanta, a healthcare marketing communications and technology agency, today announced Joanna Horn has joined the agency as vice president. With a background in B2B and B2C technology, medical device and biotech for global brands, Horn will oversee client partnerships, help drive enhanced performances through innovative strategic communications and build, manage and inspire client teams for remarkable results.
Horn brings 20 years of public relations experience to the agency with a valuable combination of verbal and written communications skills in technical translation and engaging storytelling. Her strong career includes a demonstrable record of managing strategic and tactical communications planning and integrated marketing efforts for global organizations to meet their communications and branding goals. Horn has spearheaded award-wining communications and content campaigns for public and private businesses that include message and content strategy for issues-based and executive thought leadership.
Most recently serving as vice president at LEWIS for 12 years, Horn managed the day-to-day operations and strategic relationships with global partners, providing insight and counsel across all aspects of communications channels and programs and leading some of the agency’s top accounts where she maximized exposure for stakeholders and built awareness campaigns of client and executive management, with some leading to multimillion dollar acquisitions. Previously, while with Davies Murphy Group (now LEWIS), Horn opened its first European office in London, where she developed and executed integrated global PR and analyst programs and processes in collaboration with U.S teams.
