We look forward to having you join us at the Taste-of-HITMC Event in New York City, December 10, 2018. We’ve got a great program planned for this event focused on how you can get more value out of the conferences whether you just attend, speak, or exhibit. This will be an especially good session for those in the healthcare IT and marketing community who are planning to attend HIMSS, but the principles will be applicable as you go to a wide variety of conferences throughout the year.
Here’s the full schedule of events:
2:30 PM – Coffee and Connection
Meet at WeWork New York (location details sent by email) to start connecting with other participants over coffee. This will be a great opportunity to casually connect with other community members before the formal education and collaboration begins.
3:00 PM – Collaborative and Interactive Learning Lab
In this 2 hours of learning and collaboration, we’ll divide the education and discussion into 3 segments: Pre-Event, During the Event, and Post-Event. In each topic we’ll provide a firehose of actionable ideas on how you can be more effective before, during, and after the event.
Plus, we’ll engage all those attending in a discussion of what challenges attendees face with their events and offer possible solutions to those problems. We’ll also leave the last 30 minutes for an open discussion of any other challenges, problems, or questions attendees have about healthcare conferences. Come ready with your most challenging questions and gain experience from healthcare conference experts and the HITMC community.
5:00 PM – Dinner
After our collaborative discussion, we’ll walk as a group to a nearby restaurant for dinner. During dinner you’ll be able to continue the conversations started earlier, create a deeper connection with your peers, and enjoy a nice NYC dinner together as a group.
7:00 PM – Fun Social Activity (optional)
After dinner, we’ll head out for a fun social activity in New York city. We’ll determine the activity based on the interestes of those attending the event. Some options to consider might be Bryant Park, Karaoke, Rockefeller Christmas Tree, Dancing, or other options in the city that never sleeps. We understand if some want to skip the activity to head home, but a good time will be had connecting with attendees in a more casual, fun environment.
A big thank you to our sponsors for their support of this event. We’re excited to partner with such amazing companies who offer great services to those attending healthcare conferences.
